Outer space bounty hunter, and a humanoid alien from the future. Captures monsters and criminals for cash, across both time and space.
Travels alone these days, piloting an old asteroid hopper by himself. He does his own repairs on it, and also tinkers with gadgets and robots to help with his work.
He usually has an alias for whatever situation he's in, and a real name, but most of the time he just thinks of himself as Rogue.

In Brief
Rogue is an adventurer at heart. He's good at his job, and he knows it. He loves a challenge, finding the best way to find and capture his bounty, rapidly improvising when things go wrong, even jumping off buildings. He's clever and observant, but also impulsive and trigger-happy. Bounty hunting isn't a particularly honorable profession, and while Rogue may claim to be in it for the money, he actually chooses his jobs carefully, preferring to hunt dangerous criminals or rich assholes.
In private, he's affectionate, playful and nerdy. He's an introvert and his circle is very small, but when he cares, he cares deeply. He enjoys D&D and Kylie Minogue. He's messy and stubborn and he snores. He considers parties a "sea of social interaction nightmares." He hates rich people. One day he'd like to have children. Those few people who have the privilege of befriending him will discover a loyal and loving person.
After the death of his boyfriend Art, he grew more cold and detached, describing himself as "more ghost than man". He taught himself not to care, to ignore the guilt, and he closed himself off. He chose self-preservation over heroism. This changed when he met the Doctor, who inspired him to be a better man, and to keep fighting.
Even now though, he's haunted by his memories. He frequently imagines conversations with Art, and this habit only got worse after spending months completely on his own, struggling to survive. He's still recovering from that experience, physically and mentally. He sometimes struggles with dissociation, hypervigilance, touch starvation, food insecurity and social anxiety.

Appearance;
He changes clothes to blend into his surroundings, usually wanting to avoid drawing attention to himself. During downtime, he leans towards the practical and comfortable - usually simple and durable stuff that lets him work on mechanics.
After his time in the barren dimension, he's a bit skinnier and paler, a bit more subdued, a little darker around the eyes. Still handsome, still athletic, but more worn around the edges, his demeanour a touch more cautious.

Background;
Backstory
Rogue grew up in the slums of technologically advanced planet. As an orphan, he made his living as a thief for a long time. Proving himself both capable and clever, he eventually became a bounty hunter, which he has been ever since. His home has been on a spaceship for his entire adult life. Then, 15 years ago, he met the man who would become his person: Art. He didn't go by that name yet - both "Rogue" and "Art" (short for Artificer) were affectionate nicknames they started using for each other. They were partners in business, life and love.
"Art would find a way. He always did. This was the pattern they tended to stick to:
Rogue making slightly reckless death-defying decisions and his poor lovely partner being the actual hero."
Rogue was the charm and the fighter, Art was the planner and the inventor. Rogue would jump off buildings, and Art would be there to catch him. They had a devoted and happy relationship for 10 years. There were arguments and rough spots, but they loved each other whole-heartedly, so they always found a way through it. And then, one terrible day, Art died. And Rogue was a mess.
"It's strange, the shape time takes when you lose someone. The five years had gone by slowly and quickly, all at once, Rogue's bounties all blending into one another. It wasn't that Rogue hadn't continued to live, or even to love a little bit. But when you felt you'd lived through the main event of your life, everything else – that extra bit of life you found yourself wandering through – was a bit like an epilogue. "

Earth, 1813
Rogue was hunting shapeshifting aliens when he crossed paths with the Doctor. There was instant attraction and chemistry, only interrupted by Rogue believing the Doctor was his bounty. When this proved not to be the case, the two found a connection, the Doctor offering Rogue to travel with him. Unfortunately, they first had to deal with Rogue's bounty. In doing so, the Doctor's friend Ruby was trapped with the aliens. Rather than let the Doctor go through losing his friend, Rogue took her place and sacrificed himself - though not until after kissing the Doctor.
The Forgotten Place
What this planet didn't know, however, was that Rogue could not be broken so easily.
He had made a promise to himself. He had agreed that he wasn't going to be lost any more.
Because Rogue had realised he was worth finding."
He spent the next several months on a barren planet in another dimension, living in a cave, hiding from the aliens hunting him and living off small creatures he could catch. By the time the Doctor found him and brought him back, Rogue was malnourished and weak. The Doctor took him back to Rogue's ship, post-poning their adventures - at least for now.

NSFW;
ORIENTATION: Homoromantic bisexual. Prefers humanoids, but is open to any sapient beings. He's used to aliens of all varieties.
AVAILABILITY: He rarely chases one-night stands, but if there's chemistry and the circumstances are right, he's along for the ride. He's used to an open/polyamorous relationship, though he usually has one 'primary' relationship that he's devoted to. Unless it's an AU, he's in love with the Doctor. This doesn't preclude other relationships, though.
TURN-ONS: Enthusiastic consent, neediness/desire, compliments, playfulness, teasing, manhandling, vulnerability and trust.
TURN-OFFS: Feeling like his partner doesn't want to be there, or isn't interested in him. However, this doesn't rule out exploring kinks where this is an element, as long as it's consensual and at least briefy discussed.
KINKS: External kinklist. Fave: Loved. Yes: Always welcome. Maybe: Contextual, depends on partner. Let's talk. No: I will not play this.
ROLE: Versatile, equally happy to top or bottom. He's also a switch, but historically he's leaned towards subbing. While that still appeals to him, recent events means he needs a lot of trust to put himself in that helpless position. Domming isn't an inherent need, but a role he takes on request, whether verbal or simply responding to submission. He can enjoy the power, but his main focus is on what his partner wants/needs, and provoking a reaction. He can perform cruelty, but doesn't truly want to harm anyone.
PHYSIOLOGY: He appears human, but isn't. His penis is slightly above average size, and he barely has a refractory period. Other alien aspects are optional.
OPTIONAL: Being from a hermaphroditic species and able to get pregnant. Minor A/B/O elements like going into heat. Certain kinks being a cultural norm/ritual where he's from. Other physical differences that aid specific kinks. I'm very open to exploring stuff like this, but not necessarily tied to any of it. His default is "just a guy", unless we discuss otherwise.
OOC: I enjoy smut being grounded. Fantastical elements are fun, when treating it in a realistic way. This includes awkwardness, cleanliness, refractory periods, interruptions, physical limitations, oopsies, etc. I also prefer to have some CR before doing smut, so I as a player know how they interact.
